It has the GM part number on it of 3878261 EH which is correct for the 1965 Chevelle Z-16 with the 396 engine. One of them said it was a 2300 and sold me that kit. The metering plate gasket is wrong and the power valve is totally different.
Most 64's should be 2818 and most 65s 2818-1. The different date codes are a factory carb, 3 digit, or replacement, 4 digit. The 3 digit is year, month, week: 302= 63 Oct second week.
