Decide what is more important to you: the ability to safely poke your opponent outside of their range, or higher critical damage.Its a great starting class for an adaptable build. Most ADP builds utilize specific miracles/sorceries such as fall control and situation things to give them an advantage, while keeping the INT and FAI stats at the minimum they need to be.
